Day 5 - Bergen
Torsten – Today we went to the Norwegian city Bergen. Bergen is a very large city. The first thing we did was go to a tower in there I got to wear chain mail. Also in the tower we learned about a person called Admiral lord sandwich. Next there was the Hanseatic museum, a museum about the Hanseatic league. The Hanseatic league was a trading group started by Germans. In the museum we learned about trading (mostly of fish). Next the Hanseatic meeting rooms. It was rude to point in those rooms so there was a pointing stick, a stick with a hand pointing on the end of it. Lastly, the fishing museum. In the fishing museum we learned how to farm salmon, the importance of choosing the right kind of sea food, and how to build houses that you can move among other things. My hat is not lost.
Natasha – First we went to Rosencrantz tower and learned about a person called Admiral lord sandwich and we saw where the king went poop. Next we went to the Hanseatic museum we learnt about the Hanseatic league. We learnt that the Hanseatic league thought that a king cod brought good luck and considered it a VERY good present.
